Every year all Juniors and Seniors enrolled in advanced art or photo in Howard County enter to have their work exhibited at the Board of Education and recognized in an evening awards night. Prizes include gift certificates and scholarship opportunities as well as recognition by your peers and the community. Basically, it's a big deal.
Work must be submitted through a page on Mahara and a form on Google Docs must be completed by Friday, March 2nd.

Guidelines:
-Create a page on Mahara with 4 images and their info, artist info, and artist statement.
-You must include the following info on the page: Name, grade, school, course, and your artist statement that discusses your work in general (not specifically those 4 artworks)
-You can submit up to 4 of your best images that were created this year, black and white print or digital.
-Each image must include the following info: Artist, Title, Medium, Course, School
Submitting:
In order to submit your work you must do 2 things:
-Share your page with the groups you are part of and then, under Share, select Public and then Save. Go to the page you just shared publicly and copy the URL. In order to send me the link reply to the Discussion Topic I created on Mahara called Junior/Senior show HERE. Just type your name and paste your URL as a reply.
I will look over your Mahara Page and offer feedback and give you a grade. Only after I have done this can you do the next step.
DO THIS ONLY AFTER I HAVE GIVEN YOU FEEDBACK ON YOUR ARTIST STATEMENT (ON MONDAY OR TUESDAY 3/5, 3/6 – NOT EARLIER):
-In order to submit your work for selection you must fill out the Google Doc form HERE with all the correct info for your work along with the publi URL of your Mahara Page.
