- Select the piece that you would consider your strongest composition from 3rd or 4th quarter. Identify the work and briefly assess the formal and conceptual qualities (formal = principles of composition and technical aspects that make this particular piece such a strong composition – conceptual = themes, metaphors, meaning, message, ideas). - Which piece from the course represents your best and truest self? EXPLAIN WHY? (Add a photo to your page)
- Briefly describe your individual process of creating a work of art. Is this a process that has been affected from taking art classes here at River Hill or is it a process that you have personally always gone through. How does your personal process of working out ideas help you to create and make a better versions of your final ideas...
- Where do you look for inspiration? What have you found this year to be the most inspiring? Explain with as much depth as possible.
- Out of everything that you have learned/experienced in the advanced class (techniques, use of different materials, artists/art history, analysis of artwork, concept building, image making techniques, problem solving, computer editing, staged set-ups, etc., which do you think you might use in the future? EXPLAIN How/Why ?
- What is something you wish we did during this school year?
- What was something you struggled with during this year? Describe what is was and why you struggled. How did you overcome this or how could you overcome this? How could I have helped you in a better way?
