preserving the story: scanography and portraiture
Scanography
Portraiture
Shoot a roll of 24 portraits of your interview subject exploring who she is and what she means to you. You will explore different kinds of light, times of day, vantage points, and ways of representing a person.
You will need to show evidence of: at least 3 different times of day through different kinds of light; at least 3 different perspectives or kinds of portraits (¾ view, full length, headshot, abstract closeup, etc.); and at least 3 ways in which you obscure, remove, hide, crop out, or otherwise create a portrait without showing their face.
