ap proposals
You will propose an idea for your AP Concentration for this year though the AP Concentration rubric. Below is a past student's proposal of 2 ideas she did through Mahara (you don't need to do this, it's just an example)
HERE is what your AP Concentration Mahara page will look like.
Choose a topic that is specific enough you can plan out what you will do for the entire year. Your images should be connected by their idea but also visually connected. If you propose an idea that is too broad it will make it harder to shoot.
Ideas that are too broad and unspecific:
Idea #1: I will photograph the family members around me to capture a sense of those relationships
Ideas #2: I will photograph the multiple sides of family members and friends, showing their true self (ego) and their alternate self (alter-ego)
Ideas made more specific:
Idea #1: I will take portraits of 6 family members along with photographs of personally meaningful objects or spaces.

Ideas #2: I will photograph 2 different scenarios for each of my 12 friends or family members. Showing their hands doing something related to the different sides of their personality: painting nails and reading a book for example, and pairing these images as diptychs.
