I hope our little Dérive was adventurous and leads you to explore new things on your own when shooting your first roll documenting the principles of composition. As you shoot consider a new way to go on your path, writing down your camera settings and shooting at least one photo for each principle. If you need the shooting assignment you can download it HERE
In order to prepare for our next assignment and your first individual roll of film you will:
1. Under the Photo 1 tab at the top of the page find the Camera & Light Metering page to review for a Quiz/Test on Friday (I like to call it a "Quest"). 2. For Friday take the map you created of a path you travel regularly and find an alternate way to get to that location. (This can be an alternate path drawn on your map, you just finding a new starting place, or just a curious wandering to your location). This new direction will be the journey on which you will photograph the Principles of Photographic Composition for your first individual roll. Create some kind of documentation or proof of this new path before you get your roll of film (but DO NOT take this alternate route, the first time you go this way should be with your camera and film!) 3.
